Today’s card is a fantastic way to use up all those itty bitty pieces of patterned paper that you’ve been saving. How do I know you’ve been saving them? Well, most of us paper crafters seem to be hoarders and savers at heart. How can we possibly throw even the teeniest piece away when we might just need it? So if you’re like me, then I KNOW you’ve got some.
The inspiration for this card came from THIS one that was created by Maille Bells. I just re-created it in a standard-sized card (4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″). It’s SO easy to change up – simply pick out your patterned paper pieces (and you can use two to four different patterns), and then choose a color of CS that coordinates with your patterned paper to create the base of the card. I chose the Basic Black CS to accent the black ink that I used for the greeting.
The great thing about this card is that it’s an under 10 minute card – more like 5 or 6 minutes to make.
