I think I would have to say that the Bloomin’ Beautiful Stamp Set in the Occasions Mini Catalogue is fast becoming my favorite stamp set. So much so in fact that this is the stamp set I’m using for my next Class Planner for Stampin’ Demonstrators (hint, hint).
The base of this card is River Rock CS. I stamped the "blossom" definition in VersaMark ink. The Real Red Polka Dot DP is from the Prints Pad that is currently a Stampin’ Up! level 1 hostess reward.
I stamped the vase of flowers on Whisper White CS in Black Staz On, then used a blender pen and Real Red ink for the flowers. As with my earlier Bloomin’ Beautiful card (a few posts ago) – I created a dimensional look by having 2 different layers. Essentially I stamped my image two more times. One of them I colored and cut out and popped up the whole thing with Stampin’ Dimensionals. For the second image, I colored and cut out a few select blooms and then popped those up using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The greeting "bloom" is from the same stamp set. The main image was then matted on Basic Black CS (I used the ticket corner punch on the corners of both the main image and the black CS prior to mounting them).
As I didn’t bring any black ribbon with me to Ottawa, I used a small strip of Black CS across the card front, just overlapping the DP.
