I am not sure why, but I just can’t seem to take a picture which does this card justice! The butterfly sparkles and glimmers in the light, the colors are rich and bold, and it turned out just to be a really pretty card. I am happy in general, though I do feel it could use a little something.
So for this card, I did use a few neat elements. The butterflies were cut with CS Vellum, then they were coated in 2-way glue pen, and covered in glitter. The wings to tend to buckle a bit, but I did use dimensionals to fix them in place. I started by cutting the butterflies and using mini glue dots on the spine to attach them together. Next fixed the dimensionals on the bottom butterfly but did not remove the backing. I then glittered the butterflies, one color at a time on the fronts. Last I removed the backing of the dimensional, and stuck the two together. The butterfly was then attached to my sponged backing with more Mini Glue dots.
Hope you have a fantastic weekend,
