Hi everyone – I’m baaaaack! I had an absolutely amazing time at Stampin’ Up!’s Leadership convention. It was a wonderful opportunity to re-connect with Stampin’ Up! demonstrators that I had met at previous events and meet new demonstrators as well. I also learned a lot of new things and feel re-juvenated and re-energized. I’ll be sure to fill you in on some more details and share some pictures over the next couple of days. My last few days have been filled with post-trip recovery! Today is the first day that I finally had a chance to stamp. I decided to use the stamp set Always that we received as a gift at Manager’s Reception. I used Blush Blossom, Groovy Guava and Basic Black cardstock for this card, as well as Groovy Guava DP. The oval layers were cut using my Spellbinder’s Nestabilities. The heart was stamped first on Blush Blossom then Groovy Guava and embossed with black embossing powder. I sponged the edges of each with Groovy Guava and a little Rose Red ink. The first heart was mounted flat, and the second with dimensionals. The swirl on the top portion of DP is from the Baroque Motifs stamp set, as is the greeting. Both were stamped in Black craft ink and embossed with black EP. As a finishing touch I added a little ribbon from the Sherbet Ribbon Originals collection and added black brads. All supplies are Stampin’ Up! of course. I’ll be back tomorrow with some Leadership convention highlights and hopefully another card to share.
