My basic gray paper, classic ink and taffeta ribbon arrived on Friday and I was so excited I had to try it out right away! I was so inspired by the design and the color combination of THIS card, that I had to make one of my own. The coloring in my angel is virtually identical (although I think she did a MUCH nicer job). The swirl on the basic gray background comes from the Season of Joy stamp set & the angel comes from the Holy Triptych stamp set. This is such a gorgeous set – I absolutely HAD to have it when I saw it <grin> – I’m sure you know the feeling 🙂 ! The greeting comes from the retired stamp set Fancy Flexible Phrases. I stamped the angel in Black Staz On, onto shimmery white cardstock, then used Basic Gray, Basic Black and River Rock cardstock along with silver brads to finish off the card. I colored the angel in with a blender pen, using basic gray, going gray & river rock ink. Although you can’t really see it, I went over all the lines in the stamp using my spica clear glitter pen. The ribbon is the basic gray and white tafetta ribbon. The tag was punched out using the 1″ circle punch, and attached around the ribbon using silver cord.
