Ever since Stampin’ Up!’s list of retiring stamp sets came out on Tuesday, I’ve been trying to pull out some of the stamp sets I have that are retiring that I haven’t used very much. This stamp set – Espressoly for You – is a case in point. I bought it because I saw some really cute cards with it that I wanted to CASE. After I received it, I put it on my stamp shelf to “get to it later”, then never got around to using it. In fact, it wasn’t even mounted yet! So I dusted it off and pulled out the coffee carafe stamp and mounted it. I want to be able to say that YES, I HAVE used this set, before it’s gone. The designer papers are from the Sentimental Journey collection and the cardstock that I used to mat them is Chocolate Chip. For the greeting I used Circle of Friendship. I stamped it on Whisper White then punched it out with the 1 1/4″ circle punch, and mounted it on a chocolate chip circle which was punched out using the 1 3/8″ circle punch. I attached it to the ribbon using copper cord. I created the corners of the middle mat of designer paper using the ticket corner punch, then added brads from the Antique Copper Hodgepodge Hardware collection. The ribbons are the chocolate and taupe grosgrain ribbon. All supplies are Stampin’ Up! Click on the picture for a full listing of supplies.
