Fall Scrapbook LayoutFall Scrapbook LayoutFall Scrapbook Layout

Ahhh, Fall….one of my favourite seasons….along with Spring & Summer, of course…. well, really…. everything except Winter – LOL! This layout is the one I designed for this month’s scrapbook class – which was a lot of fun I moght add! A friend and customer of mine is a teacher, and organized a scrapbooking class at her school.  There were 11 teachers in all, and we did  the class in their staff room right after school.  I very happy to say they really enjoyed the class and would like me to come back at the end of Nov. or beginning of Dec. (after report cards) to do my Winter layout (which I’ll be showing you in my next post).

The stamp sets I used were Autumn Fest, Baroque Motifs, Office Accoutrement and Big Deal Alphabet.  The main cardstock colors I used were Chocolate Chip for the background, More Mustard and Kraft.  I also used Old Olive and Really Rust for the title. To create the leaves I used the Rock and Roll technique with 3 different color combos. For the large leaf I first inked it up in Close to Cocoa, then “rocked” it in Chocolate Chip.  For the small fat leaf, I first inked in Old Olive then “rocked” it in Always Artichoke, for the skinny leaf I first inked it in Really Rust then “rocked” it in Bravo Burgundy.  The accessories I used were the Old Olive and Chocolate Chip wide grosgrain ribbon & a paper clip.
