It’s one of my favourite times of the week again when I get to introduce you to my Featured Stampin’ Up! Artist of the Week. This week I am so pleased to be able to introduce to you to the talented Catherine Côté.
Catherine says: "I am a former financial analyst who made the switch to teaching scrapbooking and rubber stamping at a LSS 2 1/2 years ago and I’ve never looked back! I became a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator as a hobbyist 2 years ago and I am now pursuing this avenue on a full-time basis since last October. I love all the creativity that flows through this ever-growing rubber-stamping community. The sharing of ideas and meeting new and exciting people is what attracted me to this business in the first place. I love all my Glitter Sisters (my SU team) and cannot imagine this business without them. I’m also fortunate enough to be able to host workshops in my own home. My long-term goal is to live off of my craft.
On a personal level, I live in the West end of Montreal. I’ve been married almost 21 years and we have two amazing artistic teenage kids who are tremendously talented. My nickname, CeeCee, comes from having to hang out with English people who were always pronouncing my last name wrong. The initials “CC” were a lot easier to pronounce for them and it morphed into CeeCee along the way. The name stuck, even my hubby calls me by that nickname. I am a bit of a pack rat and cannot resist beautiful papers, stamps and punches. It is my healthy addiction!"
In addition to the gorgeous card above, I just had to show you the one below which she made using the Summer Days Scrappin’ Kit. I fell in love with it because I’m always looking for different ways to showcase the versatility of Stampin’ Up!’s Simply Scrappin’ Kits. If you live near the West end of Montreal and want to try out some of her classes, or you just want to see other great project ideas be sure to check out her blog www.creationsceecee.com. You can also email her at: [email protected].
Next week’s Featured Stampin’ Up! Artist is Carolyn Ritter. Caroline was the very 1st person to leave a comment – and was chosen by a random integer generator on www.random.org.
