I have to say that my Friday Featured Stampin’ Up! Artist of the week is one of my favourite features as it gives me the chance to better get to know some of my fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators and the opportunity to share their talents with you! This week, I’m thrilled to introduce you to Brandi Côté.
Brandi says: "Signing up to be a demo in October of last year is in my top 5 of Best Things I’ve Ever Done list. Number 1, 2, and 3 go to my husband, Philippe and my 2 boys, Logan and Skyler. These three guys are the light of my life but being a demo is an incredible creative outlet for me. It’s something that I didn’t even know was missing until I became an independant demonstrator. Running my own business has been a complete learning experience and I learn new things everyday. I never in a million years thought I would be able to make money doing something I’m totally in love with! It’s a challenge trying to balance all of these things together but when I give a class, demonstration, or workshop and actually see the moment that someone gets hooked on stamping…it’s all worth it!
I live in Chibougamau which is a small town in northern Québec. We have limited shopping possiblities here so having the SU! catalogue at not only mine, but my customers finger tips is fantastic! A little too good as my stamping and scrapping workshop has doubled in size since I became a demo. My husband tends to close his eyes when he comes in there and plugs his ears when I tell him that I’ve put in yet another order. I’m sure almost every lady reading this is nodding their head in agreement! In short, I love, love, LOVE being a demo and hope I can continue doing it for many years to come. I hope you all enjoy my creations! "
Brandi is based in Chibougamau, Québec, Canada, so if you live anywhere within driving distance of her, I highly recommend you try out one of her events. I also encourage you to visit her blog The Square-Headed Stamper – as she shares all sorts of fantastic ideas. In fact the picture that I have posted above as well as the one below are some of her wonderful creations.
