What better day to start rolling out my new blog features than today (if you don’t know what I’m talking about then be sure to read yesterday’s post)? Although I announced that I’ll be starting my daily features next week, I’m bored right now and tired from packing and organizing all day, too tired to stamp myself, but not tired enough to go to sleep, so I decided to introduce my Friday Featured Stampin’ Up! Artist today.
This week I’m really pleased to introduce Barb Mulliken to you. Isn’t the carousel note Mother’s Day Card she made just awesome? I just love the extra touches she added: the dry embossing on each scallop and the colored flower slider. Barb also shared with me the card at the bottom of this post which she made for Stampin’ Up! Chipboard promotion.
Barb says" I went to my first Stampin’ Up! workshop eight years ago and was instantly hooked. I had never been a crafty or artsy person but I don’t need to be as Stampin’ Up! provides everything I need to make wonderfully coordinated projects. I hosted a few workshops, bought alot of fun stuff and then moved to Wyoming six months later. I kept on stamping and buying from my friend in Montana and then decided, why not, and I signed up.
I joined just to get the discount. About a year later, an acquaintance found me on the demo locator, wanted to have a workshop and I agreed. It was so much fun and it just kept going and going and going. Four years later and I have earned my third incentive trip with Stampin’ Up! to Hawaii. This job has introduced me to some of my best friends and has kept me sane while staying at home to raise my two children around my husband’s crazy schedule.
I live in Sheridan, Wyoming with my husband of 10 years and my two children ages 4 and 6. I currently run a number of hostess clubs and offer many types of classes, stamp-a-stacks, stamp camps, technique classes and other fun 3-D classes."
