The Garden Silhouette Level 2 Hostess set was one of the first stamp sets I earned when the Fall/Winter Collection 2007 was released. Although I absolutely LOVE the set, this is actually the first time I mount it and use it. Same thing with the Stem Silhouettes stamp set from the Holiday Mini. I bought it because I loved it, but hadn’t used it yet. With this card, I combined the two (the image from Garden Silhouette and the greeting from Stem Silhouette). I wanted a card that was simple, yet striking. This card originally started out with a white card base, the main image matted on guava and then on black. But then it seemed as though it was missing something. So, I kept adding elements. The cuttlebug embossing folder for the white cardstock, the ticket corner punch, matting it on guava, the black brads, the ribbon, then finally mounting it onto a black card. While I love these various elements on their own, I’m not sure I like how they came together, but since it’s all I stamped today, I thought I’d share it anyways.
