Happy Wednesday! We had a huge snowstorm here last night so I’ve got a couple of kids home again. It seems that this year we’re making up for last year’s lack of snow with a vengeance! It just keeps coming and coming.
Today I thought I’d share a card with you that I created using Stampin’ Up!’s Delicate Details Lace Tape. I discovered that it’s heat resistant so you can actually emboss it – which is what I did. I embossed the wider pattern with Melon Mambo Stampin’ Emboss powder and the narrower pattern with the Tempting Turquoise Stampin’ Emboss powder. Now you may notice that in the narrower pattern – the one I embossed with the Tempting Turquoise most of the open areas of the lace pattern are filled in – that’s because when I pulled it off the transfer sheet (the backing) the melted embossing powder came with it. I decided to leave it because I actually liked how it looked. If it bugs you though, then you’d need to take your paper piercing tool or the tips of your scissors and poke each little piece out – tedious, but then if you want perfection that’s the price you pay LOL.
