I just wanted to take a minute to share a great new e-book that was recently released by Liz Sanpietro, the wife of John Sanpietro my stamping business coach (whom you’ll hear me mention a lot!). The e-book is called "Mom Needs to Work". When John sent out the annoucement about his wife’s new e-book I thought it was really timely, because with summer here in full swing, and all the kids off of school, balancing my time between my full-time career as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator and spending time with the kids has been a challenge. Although my kids are really great at entertaining themselves, and helping keep my 23 month old entertained – especially my 5 year old daughter, she’s a real little "mother" – and they fully understand that "mommy needs to work to make money to help pay for things", at times they get bored with their typical activites. That’s where I found Liz Sanpietro’s e-book "Mom Needs to Work" so helpful.
Liz herself is a work-at-home mom, and wrote the e-book based on her own experiences (17 years worth!) of teaching grammar school-aged children. The book is chalk-full of intellectually stimulating activites that your school aged children (Grades 2 through 7) can do on their own (with a little set up help from you).
If you are a work-at-home mom, or even a work-at-home dad, I strongly encourage you to take a look at this great resource. To get a better idea of what types of activites are included, you can read more about it at www.momneedstowork.com and download the introduction and table of contents. If you decide that you would like your own copy, be sure to let Liz know that Andrea Walford sent you ;o) !
