A couple of weeks ago you heard me talk about the Palette ‘O Prints Promotion (which by the way ends tomorrow). Although I absolutely LOVE the paper, I haven’t really made all that many cards with it. So today, instead of just admiring it, I decided to cut into a few more of the patterns. The layout of this card is totally based on one by Stampin’ Kub (you can see it HERE). I know I’ve said this before, but I absolutely adore his style – simple yet striking. For this card I used a strip of 3 different designs of the Rose Red patterned paper from the Palette ‘O Prints. I added a different embellishment on each strip: a couple of silver brads, the narrow stitched rose red ribbon from the Sweet Shop Ribbon Originals (for some reason it looks a bit orangy in the picture), and a couple of silver staples. The main image is from one of my favourite stamp sets: Sassy Stems. It is stamped in black staz on and colored in using blender pens and Rose Red, Certainly Celery and Tempting Turqoise ink. I finished it off by matting it on black. Please click on the picture for a full list of supplies. Have a great day!
