Christmas workshop card

I realize we still have a couple of holidays to go before Christmas, however I’ve been getting requests from my workshop hostesses to make Christmas cards. This was one of the cards that I did for my most recent workshop.  It’s very similar to one that I saw on Splitcoaststampers – I just tweaked it a little!  The images and the greeting from from the Season of Joy stamp set that’s in Stampin’ Up!’s  Holiday Mini Collection 2007.  I started by stamping the greeting in Old Olive Classic ink onto the bottom right corner of my Old Olive card base.  I then stamped the flourish in VersaMark ink randomly all over the front of the card base. I then used a strip of patterned paper from the Dashing Designer Paper Collection, mounted it onto a strip of Real Red Cardstock, and adhered it to the front of the card with my double sided tape.  I stamped the snowflake in real red.  Punched it out with my 1 1/4″ circle punch, matted it with a 1 3/8″ circle of Old Olive cardstock, then mounted the whole thing onto a scalloped Real Red circle.  Stampin’ Up! has an awesome collection of punches which work really well together! I added Dazzling Diamonds glitter (of course) with my 2-way glue pen, then mounted it with a Stampin’ Dimensional.  All supplies are Stampin’ Up! Thanks for looking!
