I’ve been asked a few questions about using Simply Scrappin’ Kits for creating cards, and I figured it would be easier to answer the questions all at once in a post. As I mentioned in my post earlier today, each Simply Scrappin’ Kit comes with 8 sheets of 12″ x 12″ textured cardstock, 6 sheets of double-sided patterned paper, and 6 sheets of self-adhesive die cuts. How many cards you get out of a kit will depend on the design on the cards.
The Winter Bright set of cards that I created uses 4 sheets of the textured cardstock and 3 sheets of the self-adhesive die cuts. So essentially, it is a 1/2 kit per person. However, I didn’t even touch the patterned paper that came with it – that I’ll probably save for other projects. I did not have to purchase any additional supplies. Although, I forgot to mention in my post that I used the Snowfall stamp set to stamp some snowflakes on the Wild Wasabi cards.
Each card was created out of a 6″ x 6″ piece of cardstock, scored at 3″ and folded in half. This way, each sheet of 12″ x 12″ cardstock will give you 4 cards. The final dimension of the cards when closed is 3″ x 6″. The closest match for an envelope is Stampin’ Up!’s Small Open-End Envelope. Hope that answers your questions! If you have any more questions, please add them to the comments section of this post, then check back here for the answer, I’ll add it on to the bottom.
