Who would have thought of pink for Christmas cards? Certainly not me, until I saw some. Personally I find them quite striking, and if you like to be current and trendy, well… pink Christmas cards are hot thise year! Now, on to the second question – it’s that time of year again -have you started thinking about what kind of Christmas cards you’d like to make? For Canadians, Thanksgiving is just around the corner. Before you know it, it’ll be Halloween, then Christmas. I’m planning on offering a bunch of different Christmas classes this year. although as of yet, I still haven’t put the projects together.
The card series you see above, is for my Winter Bright Simply Scrappin Card Class. It’s the perfect class for someone who doesn’t have a lot of time and wants their cards to be trendy. Each class participant will make 16 cards for $30 CAN (envelopes included). I will have a class-t0-go option, for those of you that are long distance to me or whose schedule won’t permit you to attend. You will receive exactly the same things in the class-to-go option as you would in the class. The only extra you pay is shipping. The date of the class is Tuesday, Oct. 23rd, from 7:30 – 9:30 pm. It is here at my studio in Cambridge, ON, Canada. If you would like to RSVP for the class, click HERE. If you are interested in ordering the class to go option, click here.
Simply Scrappin’ Kits are such an awesome way to make quick, easy, yet beautiful cards. Stampin’ Up! has quite a few Simply Scrappin’ Kits to choose from (between pages 174 – 177), allowing you to make cards for pretty much any occasion. They’re an awesome value too: you receive 8 sheets of textured cardstock, 6 sheets of double-sided designer paper, and 6 sheets of self-adhesive die cuts.
I have a close-up of all 16 cards below. When you look at the copyright, you’ll notice that some simply say: Artwork © Stampin’ Up! – these cards were designed by the talented staff at Stampin’ Up!. The cards which say Designed by Andrea Walford; Artwork © Stampin’ Up!, were my own creations.
