If you read my post from earlier today “The Road Back to Stampin’ Up!” then you’ll know that the Sunny Stampin’ blog has once again become my place to share my Stampin’ Up! creations with you. Today’s card is a CASE of the “Clear Stripes For You” card by Euna Sahng on page 17 of the new Stamp It! Cards Volume 9 magazine by Paper Crafts magazine. I used the same layout and design of Euna’s card but made it over using all Stampin’ Up! products.

The base of the card is an acetate card which I created by cutting a window sheet to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2, and then scoring it at 4 1/4″ to create a standard 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ card. I matted Whisper White Cardstock on the inside and back of the card.  I cut 1/2″ wide strips of Twitterpated DP and stuck them to the front of the acetate spaced at about 1/2″ apart.  My greeting label was stamped with and image from the Apothecary Art stamp set, and then die cut using the Labels Collection Framelits.  I added color using a blender pen and Riding Hood Red, Old Olive and Pink Pirouette Classic inks. I punched a slot on either side of the label using Stampin’ Up!’s retired slot punch (you could simply cut a slit in place of the punched slot using a hobby blade and craft mat).  My Organza Ribbon was threaded through the slots on the label, wrapped around the card front and tied in a bow to the left of the label.  Basic Pearls were added as a finishing touch to the center of the flowers.

You can link to most of the products I used above.  Please note that the links will take you to the Canadian Stampin’ Up! Online Store.  You can purchase any of these products through your Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator or if you don’t have one, you can use the “Find a Demonstrator” feature at – just make sure you select the appropriate country first.
