The card for today’s Stampin’ up! Monday Makeover Challenge is based on a card I saw on Amy Rysavy’s blog Prairie, Paper & Ink. When I saw that card, I immediately thought it would be perfect for today’s challenge for two reasons – I already had the perfect stamp set (Tart & Tangy) and designer paper (Summer Picnic) in mind, but also, because she has a tutorial on how to create a template for the "four punched circles on a square" layout that I thought would be perfect for you guys if you want to re-create your own card following this layout.
Although Stampin’ Up! has a piece of chipboard in it’s On Board Accents chipboard collection, the circles are 1 1/4" – which didn’t work with all the images in the Tart and Tangy stamp set. So I followed Amy’s tutorial and created a template using Stampin’ Up!’s 1 3/8" circle punch. You can see Amy’s card and the tutorial HERE.
Now it’s your turn: find a card or other project that you love and make it over using all Stampin’ Up! products. Post it on your blog or website, or upload it to Splitcoaststampers and link to this post. Once you’ve done that, come back here and leave a comment, with a link to your post or SCS upload. The first Monday of the following month I will draw a name and announce a winner. The winner will receive a current item from the Stampin’ Up! Catalogue valued at $14.95 (CAN) or less, and it will be mailed directly to you! You can enter as many times as you want. Each project you make counts as one entry. This contest is open to EVERYONE (Stampin’ Up! demonstrators included)
