Every Saturday (well, recently it’s been most every Saturday), I’ve been featuring cards that take 10-15 minutes or less to make. The purpose of Stampin’ Up! Stamp Simply Saturday is to challenge myself to create simple yet beautiful cards using my Stampin’ Up! products that can be created quickly. After all, how many of us have an hour to spend on a card each and every time we need to make one? The secret to a beautiful, yet easy to make card is in the details: accessories, embellishments and a few layers.
Today’s card is pretty straight forward and was made using the following supplies:
Stamps: Dreams du Jour (coming out in the new Fall/Winter 2008 catalogue)
Ink: Basic Black, Pink Pirouette (a new "In Color" for 2008)
Paper: Basic Black CS, Pink Pirouette CS, Bella Rose DP (coming out in the new catalogue)
Accessories: White Taffeta Ribbon, black brads from the vintage brads collection, 1/16" handheld circle punch.
Stay tuned on Monday for my Stampin’ Up! Makeover Monday Challenge! By the way, this post, as well as all the posts I have for the next 2 weeks were pre-stamped and pre-uploaded then timed to release on each given day. I have 6 posts for next week, and 6 for the week after already scheduled in anticipation of my baby arriving any day now (today – the date of the release of this post – is my actual due date).
Once I’m home from the hospital (whenever that may be) I’ll be sure to post the announcement and a picture – PLUS – I’m going to announce a HUGE blog "candy" giveaway – which I’ve never before done in the history of my blog. So stay tuned, because you are NOT going to want to miss this!
