Close as a Memory workshop card

After spending about 2 hours in my stamp room last night trying to come up with a second workshop card that would be simple enough for someone with a physical challenge, yet had the ability to be stepped up, I came up with this one.  It’s amazing how hard “simple” can be.  It took me two hours because I kept trying things and then deciding against them (hence the card I posted yesterday – in addition to that one, I made a couple of other cards which I’ll post over the next  couple of days).  I started by adding a 1 3/4″ strip of Le Jardin designer paper onto the Bashful Blue card front.  I then stamped the flowers from Close as a Memory in Saffron ink onto Saffron cardstock.  The greeting is from the In my Thoughts stamp set, and was stamped in black (kind of crooked as I didn’t use my stamp-a-ma-jig).  At it’s very simplest, the card could be left like that.  To step it up, I tied a knot in Cream grosgrain ribbon then attached it to the bottom of the Saffron piece, and added a couple of Bashful Blue brads to the top left.  This layer was then attached to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Thanks for looking.
