Today’s card was created using Stampin’ Up!’s Bandstand Simply Scrappin’ Kit. It’s been awhile since I created a card using a Simply Scrappin’ Kit and now I’m wondering why LOL. I bought this kit when the catalogue was first released but then never ended up using it until today. The chevron border stickers in the kit made a quick and easy decorative border, and the buttons add just the right amount of bling! The sentiment is from Sassy Salutations – a stamp set I’m sure you’ve seen me use many times – I absolutely LOVE it! All supplies are listed below:
Stamps: Sassy Salutations
Ink: Jet Black Archival (Ranger)
Paper: Whisper White CS, Pool Party CS, Bandstand Simply Scrappin’ Kit (Stampin’ Up!)
Accessories: Pool Party Button, Cherry Cobbler Button, Old Olive Button (Stampin’ Up!)
I also wanted to get your feedback on some changes I’m thinking of making to this blog. As you may know if you’ve been reading my blog for awhile – this blog started when I was a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator and was always dedicated to Stampin’ Up! creations. After leaving Stampin’ Up! in January 2011 I decided to continue to dedicate this blog to SU stuff for my SU-loving readers. Over the last year or so I’ve tried setting up and maintaining a couple of other blogs for my other creative pursuits, but honestly, other than the Paper Crafter’s Library – in which we get content from all sorts of different places – I haven’t been able to keep up.
That’s why I’m thinking about coming back full circle and making this blog about all of “Andrea Walford” – me, my life, my Stampin’ Up! creations, my other paper crafting creations, my digital scrapbooking (a new endeavour of mine) as well as my mixed media and art journalling. My thoughts are to divide up this blog into “sections” representing my different endeavours. So my home page would essentially be a “landing page” from which you could access whichever area of what I post happens to interest you. So if all you want is Stampin’ Up! then you’ll be able to click on my Stampin’ Up! category, if you want to see some digital scrapbooking, that’s the category you’d click on, want to see what’s going on in my life then that will be a category of it’s own.
Now all of that is my thought process, but I’d appreciate your feedback – if you have a great idea on how I can organize my blog – I’d love to hear it!
