Welcome to Thursday Trend Watch! Although I love every theme we’ve chosed for every day of the week, I have to say that Thursday Trend watch holds a special place in my heart. I find it so exciting to see the way the paper crafting industry is always changing and evolving and I love to see the way trends come and go and come back again. I then love to take those trends and see how I can apply them to my Stampin’ Up! products.
The yellow/gray trend first seemed to emerge around Feb/March of last year when there were lots of products and projects floating around the net that combined those colors. It slowed down a bit, but then seems to be coming back with several paper crafting companies coming out with product lines in those colors.
So with my card today, I decided to focus in on those colors and also combine it with the current trend of do-it-yourself embellishments – in particular flowers (if you’re a blog hopper then you’re bound to have seen lots and lots of them all over the place).
Don’t forget that we have two give-aways going on right now:
1. We’re giving away 1 FREE registration to BOTH the Fun Folds & Pop-Up Cards online class as well as the Simply Scrappin’ 101 online class. We’re announcing the winners tomorrow night, so you have one more day to enter which you can do by clicking HERE.
