Welcome to Thursday Trend Watch! Although I love every theme we’ve chosen for every day of the week, I have to say that Thursday Trend watch holds a special place in my heart. I find it so exciting to see the way the paper crafting industry is always changing and evolving and I love to see the way trends come and go and come back again. I then love to take those trends and see how I can apply them to my Stampin’ Up! products.
The yellow/gray trend first seemed to emerge around Feb/March of last year when there were lots of products and projects floating around the net that combined those colors. It slowed down a bit, but then seems to be coming back with several paper crafting companies coming out with product lines in those colors.
So with my card today, I decided to focus in on those colors and also combine it with the current trend of do-it-yourself embellishments – in particular flowers (if you’re a blog hopper then you’re bound to have seen lots and lots of them all over the place).
I hope you enjoyed today’s project!
